Company Overview

The Locator Services Group Ltd. is a Boston based company which specializes in unclaimed property identification and recovery for Fortune 500 companies.  We have approximately twenty-five staff and are located just two blocks from South Station.

Position Overview

The Corporate Recovery Associate manages a limited number of large corporate client accounts. In this role, he or she assists clients with all aspects of unclaimed property recoveries. Responsibilities include researching online databases to locate unclaimed property held by various governmental agencies, preparing and gathering the relevant supporting documents, following up with the clients via verbal and written communication, submitting applications for payment of the property, and following up with those agencies through the payment of funds.  Additionally, the Corporate Recovery Associate prepares monthly status reports, resolves specific client issues and maintains the clients’ profiles to ensure all records and information is current. Ultimately, the Corporate Recovery Associate is expected to maintain current business relationships with their existing clients and to effectively assist their clients in recovering their unclaimed funds.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience in claims processing or related function strongly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 2007 (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and familiarity with database management software (preferably ACT!).
  • Self motivated.
  • Meticulously detail oriented.
  • Internet savvy, resourceful, and ability to think “outside the box”.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to provide creative ideas to streamline processes and procedures.
  • Capacity to adjust to the needs of a growing company.
  • Comfortable receiving direction.
  • A process and protocol driven personality with a focus on results.
  • Possess personable, yet assertive phone skills along with a courteous phone demeanor.
  • Extraordinary capacity to produce detailed and accurate notes.

Compensation

Salary is commensurate with experience.
